How to switch the Poweriser footplate with the Powerskip binding!
The Powerskips footplate and bindings are bad, but the rest of the stilts are better then all of the other stilts. I liked the footplate on my old Powerisers. So I desided to remove the orginal binding system from the Powerskip and mount the Poweriser footplate instead.
Before you start, read through this whole tutorial and make sure you have the right tools ready. Also make sure you have a good order on all your parts when you start to dismantle them. There is going to be alot of them. And be sure to be careful with your stilts and especially your springs.
First of all, you have to remove the binding system from the Powerskips and this is the easy part. You just have to loosen all the screws and take away the binding system on both of your stilts.

When this is done, you have from your Powerisers:
2 footplates with the front strap on it
2 strap
12 screws for attachmenst of the footplates
4 screws for the attachments of the loose straps
#Note: The two screws at the front on each foot are longer then the other four, don't mix them up.
Next thing is to fit the footplate on the the Powerskips. There is a rectangular form under the footplate to fix it to the metalplate. You have to grind of the red ring because the metal plate on the Powerisers and Powerskips doesn't have the same holes. You can see that I have scraped of the ringform, on the bottom of the plate to make it fit.

Next thing is to screw the plate on to the skips. As you can see below, the screwholes doesn't fit. I solved this by scraping bigger holes in the footplate in middle(red ring) to make it fit. In the green and yellow rings, I drilled new holes and screwed them together. Word of caution: We you drill the holes in the yellow rings, be sure to look under the plate since the will be right under the pin that holds together the stabiliser rods. There should be no problem, just be careful. When you screw the footplate, be sure to hold it down against the metalplate.

When this is done, we drill holes in the side for the straps, screw them in place....

...and done.

#Note: All the holes shall be threaded if possible, otherwise use bolts.
