I'd like to know the opinion of professional jumpers about this issue. My friends, who jump a lot and are professional acrobats, have back pains after jumping for about 3 years now. Is it common? Did you experience anything like that?

They didn't see the doctors yet, so we don't know if this are the muscles or the spine.

You guys have to know something about it.

I know the common problems of amateurs and beginners, so please, if you're not pro, skip this thread.

Thanks for your help!

I cannot answer your question. I monitor this site regularly as an interested bocker, but would advise you that the professionals, the real Swebouncers, do not frequent this site any more, more's the pity.

Sorry Lux, I have not been around for quite a while.
I think your professional fiends should be able to feel the different of normal muscle pain and when it comes to the spin. No one in our team have had any bigger problem with their back but go and check it is you not sure. Better be on the safe side.

Hope everybody will be fine and take care of their bodys

how often do you change your skips? How long do powerskips last (from your experience)?

When I did 3 hours hard training a day a broke a spring every second - 4th week I think, now I take it easier and do not change them often at all.

Thanks Mikael. What about the frame? Does it last long?

this is the answer I was looking for. Thank you Mikael.

Are you telling me that from the very beginning you use the same set of skips? You changed basicly only springs?

I tried powerizers, powerisers, 7s, some of my team mates used even skyrunners. Alaways the same problem with the frames. In certain points they get loose, which leads even to breaks. You can imagine a big heap of scrap. I'm considering having stronger equipment.

After 5 years of hardcore bocking I felt that it was time to change but Im sure the stilts could have lasted a while more. The frame looked great, only the blue stabilizerbars where a bit slanted.

So yes I think the frame is really good.

Have you been using only one set for 5 yrs? If it's true that means something.

My team mates dont even train so hard because they care for their equipment. Hopefully it will change soon.
