I'm trying to locate a retailer that will ship to Sweden, I'd like to get one of the better models, but still not all that expensive. I'm trying to tell which brand is actually which since a lot of them seem to go under the same name.

I'm trying to sort out some confusion about the different brands. So let me just check if I got things straight:

The powerskip, is more or less the best model, priced accordingly.

The poweriser is a cheaper alternative but still not a bad brand. And is powerizer another brand?

Also, I'm trying to figure out what the skyrunner is. Seems like a lot of retailers sell powerisers under different names. This site seems to be selling the so called skyrunners, altough they look like the poweriser? http://www.skyrunner.se/new/order.asp The price is also about the same as for the poweriser.

And then finally 7league. I only found 1 retailer for the which was http://www.7-leagueboots.co.uk/shop/ But I cant make out if they're shipping to Sweden or not?

So which one of these brands would you guys recommend for me to purchase? And where would I find a Retailer that ships to Sweden for them?

Right now I'm thinking either Poweriser or 7league. Can't tell the difference between them though. Feel free to fill in with personal experience on wear and tear on these things smile.gif.

Thanks!

Here you have some info of were the diffrent brands come from

Powerskip – The original

A man named Alexander Bock invented Powerisers 1999 in Germany. The product was then called Powerskip.
The Velocity motion stilt

In 2000 Stiltwerks-inc started producing the product in the States.
Poweriser – Korean brand

In 2002 a company in Korea started to mass-produce this product under the brand name Poweriser.
7Leagueboots – Austrian brand

In 2003 an Austrian company started to produce their version of Poweriser under the name 7Leagueboots.
Fly Jumper – Chine’s brand

A few years later a Chine’s factory started to produce this product. They sell their powerisers under lots of different brand names. For example Fly Jumper, PoweriZer, Pro-Jumper and Fly Locust. They now produce 200 000 pairs per year.

Here are the retailers I know about in sweden

http://flerbollar.e-butik.se/
Flerbollar i Luften, They sell both Powerskips that we use and Powerisers that is a good first stilt.

http://www.poweriser.nu/
Poweriser Europe they sell powerisers as well

http://www.xbounce.se
Xbounce they sell flyjumper, I have never tried them but I guess its an ok beginner stilt.

and as you were into 7leauge this is the manufacturer http://www.7meilenstiefel.com/ just send him a mail. He is a nice guy but I dont know about the shipping.

Hope this will help you with your stilt search

Hi Ohls,
most of it has ben writen by Mikael, but there is one important thing left over:
There are some companys that bought huge stocks of stilts some time ago and they have to get rid of them, seen thy are old models meanwhile. But there have been much changements made in the past few months, so these old stock jumpers are not up to date anymore. If you would like to buy a pair of stilts taht are up to date and if you would like to buy the Powerisers, then you could ask for a retailer at http://www.powerisers.de
Another trustfull dealer of another brand you could find at: http://www.speedjumper.de
They are selling the so called SpeedJumpers and they are modified Fly jumpers.
In fact there are just the Powerskips made in Germany, the Powerisers made at the Philipines by a Korean Company and then the chinese bouncers sold under several labels, that are usualy sold in Europe. I do know about the so called Velocity stilts made in US, but they looks like a Copy of the Powerskips for a price that no European could (would) pay.

Jump high have fun says Dome

The different companies are all trying to change their stilts to be the best so since there is so many companies there is a lot for new stilts to keep track of.
The one I'm most interested in at the moment is the 7Leauges new model S-rex. Not yet on the market, but I had the chance to try it a few weeks ago.
